The Spring 2011 Brighton & Hove Business Show – a launch pad for business success for 12 new business start-ups

Brighton & Hove is a vibrant young city with a highly educated, graduate workforce, better than most other parts of the UK. Naturally, this lends itself to have one of the highest business start-up rates seen over a period of years, being estimated as the 6th start up city in the UK, with a population being around the 16th largest City in the UK.

Following on the British Governments’ launch of the StartUp Britain! campaign, 28 March 2011, The Brighton & Hove Business Spring 2011 Show, now staging its sixth Business 2 Business Show, has offered an incredible 12 start up and fledgling businesses, an extraordinary launch pad, Thursday 7 April 2011, with prime exhibition stand space, at this most popular and growing business event, being part of a busy networking day organised for hundreds of Sussex businesses.

This represents a staggering 400% increase in young businesses seeking to exhibit for the first time since 2010.

During the previous three years, the Show has provided exhibition space, for more than 15 Sussex based young companies; these businesses are still thriving and all growing, year-on-year, which have included sole traders, etailers, franchisees, social enterprises, green businesses.

As a new media, digital city, a creative industries city; a special tourist destination and conference and events city, so much so, that the organisers asked the popular BBC Dragons’ Den film production team, to return to the Spring 2011 Show to help them with  such an extraordinary demand in this city full of entrepreneurial spirit and talent.

The Dragons’ are Back and Ready to Invest!

Business has been buzzing  since the announcement and truly   ‘Brighton Rocks ‘ since this mid-months’ Den announcement.
